Devasom supports its local school by funding the school lunch program each academic year. The resort has also set up the Devasom Scholarship program. The program sponsors university students to help them pursue their bachelor’s degrees. Devasom sees their support for students like Phutawan Plegan as an investment in the future. Phutawan’s dream is to become a lawyer so that he can provide legal aid to the less fortunate.
